Breast Reduction
Breast reduction, or reduction mammoplasty, is a very popular and commonly performed procedure as large or pendulous breasts can pose particular health problems for many women. Women may experience back and neck pain or may be self-conscious with regards to very large, heavy breasts that fall lower on the body than their natural position. The goals of breast reduction include reducing the size of the breasts while maintaining and improving the overall contour and shape. The procedure removes excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin to ultimately craft smaller, lighter, and firmer breasts that will help restore shape and confidence in a natural way.
Breast reduction can be accomplished with a variety of techniques. With this procedure, the size of the areola can be reduced and / or liposuction may be performed as a complementary procedure under the arm to enhance the results. We at Réviance will provide you with a personalized consultation to discuss these approaches and to help determine if breast reduction will be best for you and your needs.
